Sayidkomil Ibodullaev
Sayidkomil Ibodullaev is a lawyer at the "MY LAWYER" law firm. Furthermore, he has held various positions (lecturer, vice-dean, assistant to the rector) at the Tashkent State University of Law (TSUL) and is currently engaged in PhD research at the department. He is a 2nd class lawyer and a professional mediator.
Following successful completion of his studies at his alma mater (TSUL) and becoming the first holder of the TSUL grant under PD-5987, as well as winning the "Chancellor's Award of the University of Glasgow 2020," awarded to 20 international students worldwide, he continued his education (postgraduate taught) at the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom, where he successfully graduated with the prestigious degree of "with Merit."
He is the author of several scientific articles and textbooks, including the works "World Trade Organization," "WTO Handbook," and "Methodology of Scientific Research," were prepared with his participation.
Additionally, Sayidkomil Ibodullaev is a participant, team adviser, and judge of the international rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition - the most prestigious international competition in international law, which is held in Washington, D.C. (USA). What is more, he was the team adviser of the first and so far the only team in Uzbekistan for the John H. Jackson WTO Law Moot Court Competition.
Apart from his activities at the university, he was also involved as a member of the working group of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the harmonization of WTO rules, as well as a member of the expert group under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the Constitutional Reforms of 2023.
Sayidkomil Ibodullaev is also a national consultant on WTO affairs of the UNDP and the International Trade Center of the WTO (ITC).
