In accordance with the project work plan, on December 26, 2024, a guest-lecturing and practical seminar-workshop on the topic “Development trends of the EU legal system and EU external relations” was organized at Tashkent State University of Law for young staff of relevant departments of the Ministry of Justice and faculty members of Tashkent State University of Law, within the framework of grant project 101048015 – JMCEUL – "Jean Monnet Chair in European Union Law".
5. A project member completed a professional development visit to Tallinn University in Estonia.
6. An international conference on "Human Rights in the European Union" was held in collaboration with the European Union Delegation in Uzbekistan.
Proposals Based on Fifth Semester Feedback Analysis
1. The mechanisms for ensuring project sustainability are insufficient – there is a need to develop a plan for activities to be implemented after the project conclusion.
2. Educational materials on European Union law do not fully cover all legal fields – additional materials need to be prepared in areas such as consumer rights, environmental law, and digital law.
3. Connections with private sector representatives are weak – practical training sessions on European Union market access opportunities need to be organized for business representatives.
A strategy was developed to address these issues for the final upcoming semester. In particular, plans include developing a strategic plan to ensure project sustainability, creating additional educational materials, and expanding cooperation networks throughout the republic.
